The background of this study is the lack of use of learning media used in learning Indonesian. Teachers only use lecture methods and learning media that are less supportive. Due to the limited knowledge of teachers in making learning media interesting for students. This type of research is research and development R&D (Research and Development). The development model used in this study is the ADDIE model, which has five stages, namely: (a) analysis; (b) design; (c) development; (d) implementation; (e) evaluation. Data collection techniques in this study were non-test techniques, namely observation, questionnaires, and interviews. The data analysis techniques used in this study are (1) analysis of digital-based smart card learning media; (2) analysis of the effectiveness of digital-based smart card learning media. One of the important issues in elementary school is the need for more materials and resources for teaching and learning. Currently, technology is providing a better solution to solve the problem. In many cases, technology in education can improve students' knowledge and open their minds. This study used a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach of collecting data analysis consisting of interviews, documentation, and observation. The findings of this study explored the roles of students when they learned a technology by applying ICT-based learning media, which improves students’ motivation and inspire them to learn and provides a better understanding of learning in the classroom. The research aims to conduct a HOTS assessment on religious learning based on the HOTS assessment in 3<sup>rd</sup> grade MI. The research analyzes assessments by teachers in class with HOTS questions to train higher thinking order students in 3<sup>rd</sup> grade. The type of research is descriptive qualitative research that examines questions based on Bloom’s taxonomy. The subject of research is teachers in MI Roudlotul Jannah. The researchers take the data through interviews and observations. The interview techniques were conducted to know how to perform the HOTS assessment to the students, while observation techniques were taught to know religion learning based on the HOTS assessment. HOTS assessment on religion learning is that Al Qur’an Hadis, Fiqih, and Akidah Akhlak are performed on some daily tests to train critical thinking, creativity, communication, and collaboration based on Bloom’s taxonomy. The researchers conclude religion learning with HOTS questions becomes a challenge for students in the learning processes, and teachers have not known HOTS questions, so that they feel hard to understand students in learning because of the diverse students’ skills. This improves students’ skill. In this study, the sample used was 51 students. The data collection techniques used in this study were tests and documentation. The results showed that "the experimental class had an average posttest score of 72.47 and the control class had a posttest average score of 57.53. The results of the creative thinking skills of the experimental class for indicators of fluency were 79%, flexibility 71%, originality 73%, and elaboration 56%; the control class had an average value for each indicator which was lower than the experimental class. This study’s results indicate an "influence in the use of the project-based learning model through making a herbarium on the creative thinking skills of students in grade 4 MI NU Miftahul Ulum Loram Kulon. The effect of the project-based learning model on students' creative thinking skills is evidenced by the regression equation Y=18.802 + 0.933X. Religious moderation is seen as a strategic value for building a true religious understanding amid religious issues that are sexy to discuss, often causing divisions and misunderstandings. The purpose of this study is to analyze and describe the process of strengtheing Wasathiyyah Islamic values developed through integrative thematic learning at MI Ma'arif NU 1 Pageraji Banyumas. The contribution of this article in the development of the science is to be a reference and patron of grounding the literacy movement at the primary education level. Research methods use qualitative research methods using a research approach thanks to the category of field research. The data collection methods used are observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used is the analysis technique of Miles and Huberman models. The results showed that the strengthening of Wasathiyyah Islamic values through integrative thematic learning was carried out with learning activities, religious activities, habituation and madrasah culture. In fact, in some educational institutions, there is no particular curriculum to support the purpose of this study to examine in depth the implementation of the Islamic Approach-based curriculum as a medium to strengthen the religious character of Islamic boarding school madrasah ibtidaiyah students. The samples in this study were taken from madrasah ibtidaiyah in Tulungagung and Ponorogo. This research is case study research with data sources in the form of learning processes and informants consisting of students and teachers. Data were collected by observation and in-depth interviews with teachers, <em>ustaz/ustazah</em>, and students. The sample in this study consisted of 5 teachers and 20 students in each school. The results showed that there is a curriculum to develop religious character, discipline, and responsibility. The curriculum in each madrasah ibtidaiyah Boarding School is implemented in programs, both curricular and extracurricular. The integration of the national curriculum with the hidden curriculum in each institution makes the character education process maximized. Implemented programs such as praying before starting learning, saying greetings, and asking for <em>ridho</em> to the teacher/<em>ustaz</em> for religious character development. The habit of arriving on time, cultivating queuing, and utilizing free time to strengthen student discipline. For the development of responsibility, there is a picket program and a reward and punishment system.
